History was made in the professional organizing industry when NAPO President Standolyn Robertson and Jane Woolsey, President of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC), along with Lynne Johnson, President of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD), signed a new collaboration agreement creating the International Federation of Professional Organizers (IFPOA). The official signing took place at the POC national conference that was held in Vancouver, British Columbia last month.

Barry Izsak, an Austin professional organizer and president of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), was honored last month at the 2007 Los Angeles Organizing Awards, sponsored by the National Association of Professional Organizers-LA chapter.

The goal of the 3rd Annual Garage Safety Week from August 7-13 is to promote public awareness of safety issues in the garage and make America’s garages safer. “The good news is that most of these accidents could be avoided with some basic organization and by following some simple garage safety guidelines,” says Barry Izsak, author of Organize Your Garage in No Time (Que).
